Simplesat works best when it’s integrated with your existing stack.
Integrating with the big tools took priority: ConnectWise and Autotask are essential for most managed service providers, just like Zendesk and Salesforce are for SaaS.
But many other businesses use a different tool for their CRM or helpdesk. Almost all use additional tools for things like messaging, analytics, and automation.
Smaller tool integrations take a lot of effort to build and maintain. Or at least that’s how we approached them in the past. We knew we couldn’t keep up with our clients’ needs and achieve Simplesat’s mission if we continued to follow the same approach.
So, we rethought our integration development strategy and made it happen!
New API version and endpoints ⚙️
We’ve introduced a new v1 API version that comes with many new endpoints. We’re still ironing out the kinks and finalizing the documentation. The API is ready to use though, so feel free to jump in and start building.
Redesigned backend integration models to support rapid scaling 🛠
In the past, it felt like we were reinventing the wheel every time we took on a new integration. Or, at best, we were doing a lot of repetitive work.
After building several integrations from scratch, we used our hard-earned experience to identify areas we could unify or automate. For example, most Simplesat integrations are the same across different tools. Think actions like adding a note to a ticket, or updating a custom field for a contact. We’ve built new models to standardize these common integrations while making it easier for us to input what is different every time: authentication and endpoints.
We’ve just started rolling out integrations using our new system. Like our new API, we still have some cleanup to do, but so far we’re super happy with the results.
Today, we’re excited to announce that the following new integrations are available:
And these integrations are currently in progress:
