The 14 best Zendesk integrations for 2027

Eric Sangerma

The best Zendesk integrations each fix one support problem: feedback on every ticket, a bug that reaches engineering, the customer's order or deal next to the reply, work handed off to another team. These 14 were picked that way, and each entry says what it does, who it suits, who built it, and one drawback. Fact-checked in October 2026.

A customer writes in asking where her refund is. To answer, the agent opens the order in Shopify, checks the billing tool, searches Slack for what a colleague said last week, and pastes a summary back into Zendesk. That one question took four tabs, and the right integrations would have answered it from inside the ticket.

The Zendesk Marketplace lists more than 1,500 apps, and you probably need a handful. This list covers 14 that solve common support problems, with what each one does, who it suits, and where it falls short. We also note who built each one, because that tells you who to contact when something breaks.

One thing to know first: Simplesat makes the first tool on the list. The other 13 are independent picks, with no sponsored entries or paid placements.

1. Simplesat: one-click surveys that report back to the ticket

Best for: teams that have outgrown Zendesk's built-in satisfaction rating

An admin adds the Simplesat survey to Zendesk's solved-ticket email by pasting the survey embed into the trigger. Customers can start the survey with one click from the email; their rating is recorded on the survey page. Simplesat supports CSAT (customer satisfaction score), NPS (Net Promoter Score, which asks how likely someone is to recommend you), CES (customer effort score, which asks how easy the fix was), and 5-star ratings.

Each response can post to the original ticket as an internal note, and ratings can also land as tags and custom fields, so you can filter on them in Zendesk. You can choose whether positive, neutral, or negative feedback opens a follow-up ticket automatically.

It works with every current Zendesk plan, and Simplesat puts setup at under 15 minutes. It also connects to Slack, Microsoft Teams, Geckoboard, and Zapier.

Worth knowing: Simplesat is a paid subscription after a free 14-day trial. The ticket notes, tags, fields, and follow-up tickets are each switched on separately, and Simplesat's setup guide recommends letting admins modify closed tickets so some of them keep working after Zendesk closes one. If a basic satisfaction score is all you need, Zendesk's native rating is a reasonable place to start.

See how Simplesat works with Zendesk or find it on the Zendesk Marketplace.

2. Slack: bring the right colleague into the ticket

Best for: teams whose experts work in Slack and rarely open Zendesk

Hard tickets often stall while an agent waits for someone in billing or engineering to answer a question. The Slack integration, built by Zendesk, sends real-time ticket notifications to channels and lets people create or update tickets without leaving Slack. A Slack message can be turned into a ticket, with its text becoming the description.

It also supports side conversations, which are private threads attached to a ticket. An agent starts one from the ticket, picks a Slack channel, and the thread appears there, with replies recorded back on the ticket.

Worth knowing: Side conversations have to be switched on by an admin and require Suite Professional or above, or a Support plan with the Collaboration add-on.

3. Jira: keep support and engineering on the same bug

Best for: software companies where support and engineering share bugs

A bug report means more to engineering when the customer tickets are attached to it. With Zendesk Support for Jira, agents can create a Jira issue from a ticket or link a ticket to an existing issue, then follow its progress without leaving Zendesk. Field syncing keeps ticket and issue data current on both sides.

Engineers get the reverse view: they can see linked tickets and the customer conversation from inside Jira, add comments for the support team, and sort issues by how many tickets are linked to each.

Worth knowing: It supports Jira Cloud and Jira Data Center. Jira Server installs still run, but Zendesk no longer supports them. Zendesk has also released a newer version of the app alongside the original, with no migration path between them, so teams already on the newer one stay there. Check which version you have before following a setup guide.

4. Salesforce: give sales and support the same view of an account

Best for: B2B teams with account managers who need to know what support knows

A renewal call goes badly when the account manager hasn't heard about last week's outage. The Salesforce integration adds a ticket view to Salesforce account, contact, and lead pages, so sales reps can see support activity in real time. In the other direction, Salesforce data can update Zendesk users and organizations automatically, so you can use that data in Zendesk triggers, the rules that fire when a ticket meets conditions you set.

You can also sync tickets into Salesforce as cases, for reporting and workflows on the Salesforce side.

Worth knowing: Each sync runs one way: account data flows from Salesforce to Zendesk, and tickets flow from Zendesk to Salesforce. Ticket attachments don't sync, and Zendesk recommends testing in a sandbox before going live. It also needs a Salesforce edition with API access, so Professional only works with the API add-on.

5. HubSpot: put support history on the CRM record

Best for: mid-market teams running sales and marketing in HubSpot

Two official apps connect these platforms, and they do different jobs. The Zendesk-built app adds ticket activity to a contact's HubSpot timeline. HubSpot says unmatched ticket requesters are automatically added as new contacts, though Zendesk says only their email address syncs, not their first or last name. HubSpot's own Data Sync app mirrors records instead: users and contacts sync both ways, and tickets sync one way into HubSpot.

Used together, they help marketing avoid emailing an upsell offer to someone with three open complaints.

Worth knowing: The Zendesk-built app holds a 2.2 out of 5 on HubSpot's marketplace. Zendesk's own guide says tickets can only appear on the contact timeline, not on companies or deals. HubSpot's listing says the app needs a Zendesk Suite plan, but Zendesk's guide lists Support plans too, so check with Zendesk if you're on Support.

6. Shopify: answer "where's my order?" without leaving the ticket

Best for: online stores on Shopify or Shopify Plus

Without an integration, every order question means opening the Shopify admin in a second tab. The official Shopify app shows billing, shipping, and order details beside the ticket, and agents can process refunds and cancellations from that same sidebar.

The app is free to install. Completing a refund adds a tag to the ticket automatically, which makes refund volume easy to report on.

Worth knowing: Cancellations only work on unfulfilled orders. Once an order has shipped, an agent can still refund it but can't cancel it from Zendesk. Teams on a standalone Support plan also need Zendesk Chat to use the integration.

7. Geckoboard: put the queue on a screen everyone can see

Best for: teams that want live numbers visible without logging in to anything

Geckoboard turns Zendesk data into real-time dashboards for TV wallboards, desktops, and phones, covering queue health, SLA risk, and performance. There's nothing to install: you connect your Zendesk account from inside Geckoboard and build the dashboard there. It also pulls from 90+ other tools, so ticket metrics can sit beside data from the rest of the business.

Picture the Monday after a weekend outage. With the queue on a shared screen, the whole team can watch unassigned tickets climb and start picking them up before a manager has to ask.

Worth knowing: Geckoboard is a separate paid subscription after a 14-day trial. Decide who maintains the dashboard before you mount a screen, because a crowded one is easy to ignore.

8. Kaizo: review every conversation and coach from the results

Best for: larger teams with a dedicated quality or training lead

Survey scores tell you how customers felt. Quality assurance, or QA, tells you whether the agent followed the process. Kaizo says its AI reviews conversations, sorts tickets by sentiment, and flags issues, with the aim of covering every ticket instead of a sample. It also shows which agents need coaching and compares team and individual results. Kaizo says installation takes under two minutes.

Say a new hire's ratings dip in their third week. Checking five random tickets might miss the cause, while a review of every conversation could show that the low scores all involve the same billing question.

Worth knowing: Zendesk sells its own QA product, and its comparison page disputes Kaizo's every-ticket claim, arguing that reviewers still have to pick tickets by hand.

9. Zapier: connect Zendesk to tools without a Marketplace app

Best for: one-off automations between Zendesk and a niche tool

Zapier links Zendesk to thousands of other apps through automated workflows. A workflow can start when a ticket is created, updated, tagged, or added to a view, and it can create tickets, add comments, or update a ticket's status.

For example, you could create a Zendesk view called "Suggestions" and have every ticket that lands there copied into your product feedback tool.

Worth knowing: Zendesk is a premium app on Zapier, so you need a paid Zapier plan, plus Zendesk Team or higher. Most Zendesk triggers also work by polling, meaning Zapier checks for changes at intervals instead of instantly, so it isn't suited to anything urgent. Before you sign up, look at action builder, Zendesk's own no-code automation tool, which added dozens of connectors in 2026. If you already use Zapier with Zendesk, note that Zendesk is removing API token authentication by April 30, 2027, so older connections need reconnecting before then.

10. Microsoft Teams: ticket updates and actions inside Teams

Best for: companies standardized on Microsoft 365, and internal IT help desks

The Teams integration lets people view, create, and update tickets inside Teams, and it sends notifications to any channel or direct message based on status, priority, or type. Agents can also import their Zendesk ticket views as tabs. Side conversations work here too, appearing as threads in a Teams channel and recorded on the ticket.

Worth knowing: The integration runs on every Zendesk Suite tier and on Support Team, Professional, and Enterprise, but side conversations need Suite Professional or above, or Support with the Collaboration add-on. Zendesk funds the integration, while SoftServe provides and supports it, so support requests go to a third party. Attachments sent in a Teams side conversation also don't appear on the ticket.

11. Aircall: every phone call becomes a ticket

Best for: teams where the phone is a main channel and call notes go missing

A phone call leaves no record unless the agent writes one. With Aircall, every call is logged as a ticket automatically. The ticket records whether the call was inbound or outbound and answered or missed, along with comments, tags, and a link to the recording. The app places a dialer inside the Zendesk workspace, so agents call and answer without leaving the ticket.

When a call is answered, the ticket opens on the agent's screen, and unknown callers can be added as new contacts. Aircall puts setup at five to ten minutes.

Worth knowing: Aircall is a separate phone subscription, and on the Zendesk side it needs a Suite plan or Support with Talk Partner Edition. Zendesk sells its own voice product, so check whether you already have what you need.

12. Fin: automated answers without changing help desks

Best for: teams with high volumes of repetitive questions and a solid help center

Zendesk is replacing its legacy bot builder with its upgraded AI agents. Zendesk stopped developing it in August 2026 and starts migrating remaining bots automatically in January 2027, according to its announcement. If that change has you comparing options, Fin is a well-known outside one.

Fin is an AI agent that runs on top of Zendesk. It connects to your existing setup, learns from your knowledge base, and hands the conversation to a human in Zendesk when it can't resolve the issue. It can work on tickets from email and contact forms, and across Zendesk messaging channels including WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram. It replies as a named agent, and the company suggests making it explicit that this agent is an AI.

Worth knowing: Fin changed hands in 2026: Intercom renamed itself Fin in May, and Salesforce, a Zendesk competitor, completed its acquisition in September. Fin still runs on Zendesk, but ask about the roadmap before you sign a long contract. Fin charges $0.99 per outcome, with a $49 monthly minimum that includes 50 outcomes, so there is a floor even at low volume. Zendesk's own AI agents are included in every Suite and Support plan and are also priced on the outcomes they deliver, so compare the two on your real ticket volume.

13. Asana: hand work to teams outside support

Best for: teams whose tickets often need marketing, operations, or finance

A refund that needs finance to approve it, or a help article that marketing has to rewrite, can stall once it leaves the support queue. Asana's integration lets agents create a task from a ticket, attach files, link existing tasks, and see the task's status and owner without leaving Zendesk. On the Asana side, the task shows the ticket's title, number, and assignee.

Worth knowing: It needs a paid Asana plan and works with Zendesk Support only. It also has to be installed in both tools, and in Asana it's enabled one project at a time.

14. Trustpilot: handle public reviews in the same queue as tickets

Best for: consumer brands with steady review volume

With this app, each new Trustpilot review creates a Zendesk ticket, and agents reply to the review from Zendesk. Reviews then go through the same queue, SLAs, and reporting as everything else.

Take a two-star review about a late delivery. Without the app, it sits on Trustpilot until someone happens to check. With it, the review arrives in the support queue, where an agent who can look up the order writes the reply.

Worth knowing: Trustpilot's paid plans are a 12-month commitment. The Marketplace listing also names a plan that isn't on Trustpilot's current pricing page, so confirm which plan includes the integration before you buy. Give review tickets their own view, so they don't crowd out customers who are waiting on a fix.

Where to start: match the complaint to the tool

You don't need all 14. Listen to what your team says during a normal week, and start with the tool that answers it.

  • "Has engineering looked at this yet?" → Jira
  • "Hang on, I need to find the order." → Shopify
  • "Does anyone know who handles this?" → Slack or Microsoft Teams
  • "Nobody told me that account had an outage." → Salesforce or HubSpot
  • "She says she called yesterday, but there's no record." → Aircall
  • "It's the password reset question again." → Fin
  • "Were they happy with how we handled that?" → Simplesat
  • "How many tickets are waiting right now?" → Geckoboard
  • "Why did that conversation go so badly?" → Kaizo
  • "I need finance to sign off on this refund." → Asana
  • "Did you see the review someone left?" → Trustpilot
  • "Can we get these into the product team's tracker?" → Zapier

Pick the two or three you hear most often. A few well-configured integrations do more than ten half-installed ones.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Zendesk integration?

A Zendesk integration is a connection between Zendesk and another tool, so data or actions pass between them without copying and pasting. Some show outside data inside a ticket, as the Shopify app does. Others push ticket activity elsewhere, as the Slack app does.

What is the difference between a Zendesk app and an integration?

People use the two words interchangeably. Strictly, an app is something you install from the Marketplace that adds a feature inside Zendesk, while an integration is any connection that moves data between Zendesk and another tool.

Does Zendesk integrate with Slack, Jira, and Salesforce?

Yes, and Zendesk builds all three integrations itself. The Jira integration works with Jira Cloud and Jira Data Center.

Are Zendesk Marketplace apps free?

Many are free to install, but most need a paid subscription to the underlying product. The apps Zendesk builds itself, such as Slack and Shopify, are generally free.

How do I install a Zendesk app?

You need Zendesk admin access. Find the app in the Zendesk Marketplace, click install, and approve the permissions. Many apps also need a few minutes of setup in the other tool.

What is the best Zendesk integration for customer satisfaction surveys?

Simplesat is our pick, and it's also our product. It adds CSAT, CES, NPS, and 5-star surveys with follow-up questions and writes responses back to tickets. Zendesk's built-in rating covers the basics.

How many Zendesk integrations should a team use?

Use as few as will remove your biggest delays. Every integration is another thing to maintain and another permission to review, so add one at a time and check that agents are using it.
