Industry benchmarks answer the question behind every CSAT and NPS score: is that actually good? Your dashboards show the average for companies in your industry alongside your own score.

Comparing against your industry is more useful than an overall average, because a score that's strong in one industry might be ordinary in another. Our CSAT and NPS benchmark report, built from 3.5 million survey responses, puts Technology at 92.4% CSAT and Retail & Wholesale at 78.5%. The same 90% is behind for one and well ahead for the other.

That makes it easier to see where you stand, set realistic targets, and bring a real reference point to your next leadership review.

There's nothing to set up. The benchmark appears below your Satisfaction score and as a dashed line on the 90-day moving average chart, on survey and custom dashboards, based on the industry set for your workspace.

Benchmarks are calculated from anonymized numeric ratings across Simplesat, with each company weighted equally.
