Alchemer gives survey teams broad reach across research, reputation, web, email and SMS campaigns, and more. Simplesat keeps support feedback with the conversation and agent, so service teams can act without building the loop themselves.
Alchemer
is best for...
Research and marketing teams running surveys across channels, with reputation, listings, and broader CX work in the same program.
Simplesat is best for...
Service teams that want feedback connected to the conversation and agent, without building per-survey actions around the helpdesk.
Simplesat vs. Alchemer

Why teams switch
Keep the person behind the score
Simplesat keeps the response with the conversation and the agent who earned it, so leaders can report by agent and save views filtered to a team.
Configure the loop, not the plumbing
Build the question, connect the helpdesk, and choose who hears about each response. Your team works on the feedback instead of maintaining per-survey lookups, mappings, and actions.
Separate access from attribution
Plans follow response volume. Account users have allowances, while rated team members are unlimited and do not need a Simplesat login.

What is
Alchemer
Alchemer is a broad survey and CX platform that also connects to support systems. Zendesk and Gorgias use configurable Survey actions, its Gladly Survey integration is a paid add-on centered on customer records, and Kustomer connects as an external initiator for Alchemer Workflow. Its wider product line covers research, reputation, listings, digital experience, offline collection, and kiosks.
Simplesat starts with the support relationship. It keeps feedback connected to the customer, conversation, and agent, then brings the same response into helpdesk writeback, notifications, agent reporting, and team-filtered views. Plans follow response volume, account access is separate from attribution, and the team members being rated are unlimited.
Frequently asked questions
Does Alchemer integrate with Zendesk, Gladly, and Gorgias?
Yes, but not through one common model. Zendesk and Gorgias have actions configured inside Alchemer Survey. Gladly's Survey integration is a paid add-on that works with customer records rather than conversations. Kustomer connects only as a paid external initiator for Alchemer Workflow. Simplesat uses dedicated helpdesk integrations to keep feedback connected to the conversation. Agent attribution is part of the feedback model, rather than another field the survey owner has to reconstruct.
Does Simplesat replace every Alchemer use case?
No. Simplesat does not try to replace Alchemer's research services, respondent panels, reputation management, listings, local pages, or offline and kiosk collection. It is the more focused choice when the main job is collecting and acting on CSAT, NPS, CES, or 5-star feedback from customers, especially around support.
How does agent reporting differ?
Alchemer can bring an agent value into a survey response from a helpdesk field you select. In Simplesat, the team member is its own product object: feedback can be attributed to that person and used in agent reporting, with views saved for individual teams. That matters when service quality, not general survey analysis, is the program's center.
How does pricing differ?
Alchemer's published self-serve plans charge per user, with Professional and Full Access limited to three users. Simplesat plans are based on monthly response volume. The admins and managers who log in count toward the plan's account-user allowance, while the agents whose feedback is measured are unlimited.
Is Alchemer Workflow included with Alchemer Survey?
No. Alchemer describes Workflow as an add-on that requires its own license. External workflow initiators, including the Zendesk initiator used in Alchemer's support-feedback example, are also available for purchase as add-ons. Inside Alchemer Survey, a team can still send conditional email alerts without Workflow.
Can we use Alchemer and Simplesat together?
Yes. A company can keep Alchemer for broad research, reputation, or cross-department survey work and use Simplesat for the operational feedback loop inside support. Simplesat also provides exports and API access when the wider reporting stack needs the data.
