Jotform is useful when a form needs to become a support request. Simplesat starts at the other end: how did the conversation go?

Simplesat is best for...
Support teams that want feedback on work that's done: how each conversation went and how each agent is doing.
Simplesat vs. Jotform

Why teams switch
From the reply back to the ticket
Customers pick a rating in the support email they already got. In Zendesk, it can go onto the original ticket. In Gladly, it shows in the conversation.
A low score gets a follow-up
A negative rating can open a follow-up ticket in Zendesk, Gorgias, Freshdesk, and more. Whoever needs to know can get an alert by email, Slack, or Teams.
Each agent's scores add up
Dashboards show each agent's results and the comments behind them, with no spreadsheet to build. Every plan covers as many agents as you have.

What is
Jotform
Jotform is a general-purpose online form builder with a large template library and a deep integration directory. Jotform says more than 40 million users rely on its products.
It's built for forms that start work. A support survey points the other way, at a conversation that's over. Through Jotform's Zendesk integration, each rating arrives as a new ticket. The agent's name is a field your team has to pass in. In Simplesat, when your helpdesk is connected and survey links are configured, the rating comes back to the conversation it's about, with the agent attached.
Frequently asked questions
Isn't Jotform's Zendesk integration enough?
Not for ratings. Jotform pitches it for "support requests, orders, or customer feedback," and each submission becomes a new Zendesk ticket, which suits a request. A rating is about a ticket you already have. With your helpdesk connected and survey links configured, Simplesat can put it on that ticket as an internal note, with the rating and sentiment as tags.
Can customers rate the conversation right in the email?
With Simplesat, yes. The rating goes in the support emails your customers already get: they pick one in the email, then land on the survey to add detail. Jotform's own blog says it doesn't allow surveys to be embedded inside emails, for security reasons, and suggests a link or an embed on your website instead.
Can't we pass the agent's name into the Jotform survey?
You can. Jotform forms can be prefilled from URL parameters, so your team can carry the agent's name into the survey it builds. That gives each response a field with a name in it. In Simplesat, with your helpdesk connected and survey links configured, each response arrives with the agent attached, and every agent has their own results on dashboards, leaderboards, and reports.
How does Jotform handle CSAT and NPS?
Jotform documents its Star Rating field for customer satisfaction ratings, including after a support interaction, on a scale you choose. For NPS, its own guide has you count promoters and detractors and apply the formula yourself in Jotform Tables, or export to Excel or Google Sheets. Simplesat calculates CSAT, NPS, CES, and 5-star scores as responses arrive.
Does Simplesat work with our helpdesk?
Simplesat has native apps for Zendesk, Gladly, Gorgias, Kustomer, Intercom, Salesforce, and others, and more than 100 integrations in all. In Gladly, the survey can go out by email or SMS when a conversation closes.
Can we bring our past results?
Yes. Import past feedback from a CSV file and map it to a survey. With a date column, each response keeps its original date, so your scores over time pick up where Jotform left off.
