Simplesat vs. Survicate

Why teams switch
The agent is part of the data
With your helpdesk connected and survey links set up, each rating adds to the results of the agent who handled the conversation, and to the leaderboard.
Answers go back to the conversation
The answer can land on the conversation it's about, in Zendesk, Intercom, and Gladly. In Zendesk and Gorgias, a bad rating can open a follow-up ticket.
Support can set it up itself
Connect your helpdesk, build the survey, and add it to the email templates your agents already use. Most teams have feedback coming in within a few days.

What is
Survicate
Survicate calls itself a customer feedback platform. It runs surveys on your website, inside web and mobile products, by email, and in Intercom Messenger, with NPS, CSAT, CES, and branching built in. Survicate says more than 2,000 digital businesses use it.
For support, that range means CSAT is one stream among many. The agent who handled the conversation is an attribute on the response, filtered and charted like any other, and in Intercom the answer goes to the customer's profile. Simplesat is built around the conversation instead: each agent has their own results, and the answer can go back where it happened.
Frequently asked questions
Can we run Simplesat for support and keep Survicate for everything else?
Yes, and it's the split we'd suggest. Survicate keeps your website, product, and app surveys, along with any market research and employee surveys. Simplesat takes the surveys support sends after a conversation, so support's results live with the team that earns them.
Survicate already connects to Zendesk and charts scores by agent. What's different?
It does both. When a survey goes out from Zendesk, Survicate records the assignee's name as the agent, can write the answer onto the ticket by rule, and can compare scores per agent in its dashboards. Both tools can also alert your team to a low score by email, Slack, or Microsoft Teams, so the difference isn't whether there's a loop. It's whether support's feedback is one stream in the company's survey platform, with the agent as one attribute among many, or a program organized around the people who answer customers.
We're on Intercom. Where do the answers go?
Both tools run the survey inside the Messenger, so the difference is where the answer lands. Survicate sends it to the customer's Intercom profile as attributes, tags, and events, and a written answer can open a new conversation. When Simplesat's survey is sent in a conversation, the response can come back to it as a private note, tags, and conversation attributes, and a rating can open a follow-up conversation. Inside Intercom, Simplesat's survey takes Intercom's styling rather than your brand's.
Will customers still answer in the email?
Yes. In a support email, the customer picks a rating in the email itself, then lands on a short survey to add detail. You set the question, colors, and rating icons to match your brand.
Does Simplesat analyze what customers write?
Yes. AI detects the topics in written comments and the sentiment around each one, automatically from the Pro plan up. On Starter, your team tags topics by hand. Dashboards show each agent's results with the comments behind them.
Can we bring our past results from Survicate?
Yes. Export your results from Survicate as a CSV file and import it into Simplesat, mapping the columns by hand, since there's no Survicate preset. Include a date column, and each response keeps its original date instead of the day you imported it. Importing is free, and our team can help.
Can we buy Simplesat without talking to sales?
Yes. Plans are based on monthly responses and billed monthly or annually, and only Enterprise is quoted. You can try Simplesat free for 14 days, no credit card needed. With Survicate, Starter and Growth can be bought after a 10-day trial with no card, while Pro and Enterprise start with a call.
