Typeform
is best for...
Teams that build many kinds of forms, where the design and the experience of filling them in matter as much as the answers.
Simplesat is best for...
Support teams on Zendesk, Gladly, Gorgias, and other helpdesks that want each rating tied to its conversation and agent.
Simplesat vs. Typeform

Why teams switch
The rating is part of the reply
Customers rate the conversation in one click, right in the support email they already have. Match the question, colors, and rating icons to your brand.
Act on a low score while it's fresh
A negative rating can open a follow-up ticket in Zendesk, and the people who need to know can get an alert by email, Slack, or Microsoft Teams.
Every agent sees how they're doing
Agents see their feedback in the helpdesk, however many you have. Good ratings can post to Slack or Teams, and dashboards show each person's results.

What is
Typeform
Typeform is a general-purpose online form builder, known for the design of its forms and the experience of filling them in. Typeform says it helps more than 150,000 businesses.
If your support survey lives there, it probably works. But a support survey is a rating and a line about why, so the form is the easy part. A "2 out of 5" only means something next to the conversation it's about and the agent who handled it. A bad one needs to reach someone who can fix it while the customer still remembers why. A beautiful form doesn't do any of that by itself. Simplesat is built to.
Frequently asked questions
Typeform already connects to Zendesk. What's different?
Typeform's Zendesk integration, on all its plans, creates a new ticket from each form response. That suits a form that should start a ticket, like a support request. Feedback is about a ticket that already exists, so in Zendesk, Simplesat can add it to the original ticket as an internal note and open a follow-up ticket after a negative rating. In Gladly, the response shows inside the conversation it's about.
Can't Typeform put a one-click rating in an email?
It can. A customer answers the first question straight from the email, in one click, without pressing Submit. Typeform says this can only be set up with email distribution tools like Mailchimp or HubSpot, and that everyday services like Gmail and Outlook don't support it. Simplesat's one-click rating goes in the support emails your team already sends.
Doesn't Typeform already calculate NPS?
It does. Typeform has an NPS question, and its response summary shows the score with the share of detractors, passives, and promoters. Simplesat calculates CSAT, NPS, CES, and 5-star scores as responses arrive, then breaks them down by agent, customer, company, and survey. You can also save a dashboard view filtered to a team.
Can we move our NPS survey too?
Yes. Besides surveys after support conversations, Simplesat can send recurring NPS by email, and you can share a survey link, send one by SMS, or embed a survey on your website.
Do our agents need Simplesat logins?
No. They see their feedback inside the helpdesk without one. Logins are for the admins and managers who run surveys and reports, with an allowance set by your plan. In Typeform, logins come as seats: one on the Free and Basic plans, five on Business.
How does pricing compare?
Both publish their prices and offer monthly or annual billing. Typeform's plans, including a free one, are limited by monthly responses and seats. Simplesat's are based on monthly responses, and you can try it free for 14 days with no credit card.
